This is not going to be your normal review list because this is really the list of stuff I would love to have for Christmas. I am a father of 4 and my wife always asks me what I want for Christmas, and I always have the same answer, “I don’t know”. Therefore, while I was sitting around in a hotel room I figured I would sit down and put together my own personal list and share it with you. I will try to have a range of items because depending on who is getting the gift for me, I want to make sure they have options in their range. I also will put some items on here that are more if I could have anything I wanted this is what I would get. Husqvarna Automower 115H Robotic Lawn Mower
Ok, some guys love to cut grass and some guys don’t. Me personally I have had a lawn business for the past 6 years and never have time to cut my own. By the time I am done cutting everyone else’s lawn mind gets pushed to the back burner. Of course, my wife lets me know that isn’t going to work and we both decide to push through being tired and get it cut.
I was walking through Sams a few months ago and I saw a robotic mower for sale and thought wow that would be nice to have. Then I figured it was new and probably horrible technology. Fast forward to now and I happen to see a Hasqvarna dealership that had these robotic mowers cutting its own lawn. Of course, the dealer trying to sell them told me how great they were, and seeing them I was almost convinced. I put it through some tests and then left to do more research.
What I found was in comparison to all of the other robotic mowers on the market this one is by far the best and only one worth buying. I had many questions that needed to be answered before I was willing to put this on my list. Here are the questions and answers I had:
1) What happens if the mower runs into my kid or dog? This mower has sensors and if it comes up to a kid or dog it will turn around.
2) What happens if a toy or tool is laying in the yard? This lawnmower has blades that fold back if they come across an object in the yard. For example, there are videos you can find online that show it running over apples with minimal marks.
3) What about when it’s raining? The mower will not cut in the rain it will go back to its station.
4) How does it know where to cut? There is a simple wire system to mark your yard. It works much like a dog fence that has a line buried.
5) How long do the blades last? Due to the mower cutting twice a week it isn’t cutting much grass. It also protects its blades by not hitting hard objects. So all in all the blades will last.
6) Can this mower make a turn on a slope? This mower was the only robomower that was able to turn on a slope and stay in the area.
I understand this is not in everyone’s price range but it would be a great gift. Anything that gives me more time with my family instead of doing chores is a win-win on my list. If you add the fact that my wife will always have a clean-cut yard, wow such a great gift for us both.

I went back and forth for a long time before picking this pellet grill. At my home, I had a gas grill that was on its last leg. There was more rust on the burners and grills than metal. I also have an electric smoker which I seem to use every few weeks. My family loves the smoked ribs and pulled pork. On the other hand, there is nothing like coming home after work or on the weekends sitting by the grill with some burgers and a beer. This put me in a situation where I really wanted to upgrade my grill but also be able to smoke food. There are many reasons why this pellet grill fits the bill and beats the competition.
- This grill allows you to set it for smoke or direct heat. Most smokers pour the smoke and heat from the side to roll over the food. This grill allows you to slide a handle which changes it from the typical heat source and direct the source from the bottom like a normal grill
- How long will the grill last? Most of the grills I researched came with a 1 to 3 year warranty. This one comes with a 5 year warranty. To me when the manufacturer has that much faith in a product it makes me feel comfortable with the quality they are producing. So I know my grill will atleast last 5 years and one day 😊
- Enough room for my family and friends. Unlike some of the competition that you pay for the name, this one you pay for 700 sq in grill space. This is enough room to cook around 15 burgers at a time or smoke up to 2 briskets.
For me this pellet grill allows me to use one piece of equipment for all of my needs. I can grill burgers and steaks and I can also smoke some pork overnight. Things that save me time and have everything ready to go allows me to use them more often. No more dragging my smoker out from the corner of my garage every few weeks. I don’t miss my old gas grill either.
BrewDemon Craft Beer Brewing Kit
OK, now that I have a robot cutting my grass and a smoker cooking my dinner I need to have something to do. I have always wanted to try and make my own beer. A long time ago when home beer kits first came out I bought a cheap one that made really bad beer. It didn’t come with a bottle and was not worth the month. This kit comes with a much better system and you can start playing with your own recopies to create your personal house brew. I am not going to say this is the professional kit that will help you open a brewery but it is a great kit to start with. This is where I want to start because who knows if it will be something I really enjoy.

It may not seem like a gift to some people but I mean why would I not want a toothbrush that does the work for me. As you may have noticed with this entire list I like things to work for me. I also like to have clean white teeth. My wife owns this exact toothbrush and I have to admit I am jealous.
LilPals’ R/C Cockroach – Remote Controlled Fun
I am a big kid and love just about any remote control item you can find. Although I want a droid and fast carm, etc, what I really have fun with is messing with the kids and the dogs. So this cockroach would be so much fun to scare my mother-in-law, wife, and kids. Of course, I will take a droid and car too 😊
